Bronwen Thomas
Bronwen Thomas is Professor of English and New Media in the Faculty of Media and Communication at Bournemouth University where she has been teaching since 1996. She is Director of the Centre for the Study of Journalism, Culture and Community and Head of Research in the School of Journalism, English and Communication. From 2012-2015 Bronwen was PI for two projects investigating the impact of digitisation on readers and reading, both funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council in the UK. She has published widely on new media narratives and online communities, and organised a symposium on Location-based Storytelling in Bournemouth in 2012.
